Now the warm weather's here, most of us are probably looking forward to a break and the chance to simply kick back in the sunshine, dawdle over breakfast, meet up with friends and finally get onto those projects that have been waiting in the wings. If you too, have a summer project you're itching to start, you may be interested in some advice I was given that sounds particularly wise: take it easy, don't be in a hurry to finish, you'll enjoy it more by savouring each step along the way. And that must surely bring us to the part where we kick back and relax - and enjoy all the great summer-focused articles in our Summer Living issue.

Follow that dream house!
Lee and Laurie moved to Sydney from Dubbo in northwest New South Wales ten years ago in search of something special. Their beautiful home in the Northern Beaches is certainly something special, the cabana by the pool has a decidedly Indonesian air about it and is the perfect space to while away the summer and entertain visitors.
